It has been my privilege to know Jim Howell for the last nineteen years. Jim is a faithful member and servant in our church. He has ministered in many different ways over the years. He has served on our Trustee Board, as a Sunday school teacher, and as an AWANA leader. He has been willing to serve in whatever capacity he can.
Jim is a man of integrity. He is one who has the reputation of honesty and service.
I know Jim would do a great job in representing the voters of District 82. He truly has the heart of a servant.

Jim Howell will be a valuable partner in helping to Grow our Economy, Promote Excellence in Education, Reform State Government and Protect Kansas Families.
Howell Qualified—July 26, 2010
As Derby seeks to replace longtime state Rep. Don Myers, R—Derby, several individuals have stepped forward to take his place. The most qualified is Jim Howell, a long-term Derby resident who has the right mix of savvy and experience to properly represent Derby.
Howell attended local schools. He has a stable, long-term marriage and five children. He is active in his church, both as a Sunday school teacher and as a church officer. He is an experienced manager who is known for being diligent and reliable. Politically, he is a fiscal conservative who would like to see jobs grow while keeping taxes as low as possible. He desires to see our school funding focused on the classroom, not on administrators and peripheral programs.
Howell would be the best individual to represent District 82 in the Legislature. I strongly urge Derby voters to cast their votes for Jim Howell.

Howell Right Man—July 19, 2010
Jim Howell is the right man to replace state Rep. Don Myers, R—Derby, in District 82. Myers did a superb job for 18 years and set a very high standard for those who would follow in his footsteps. In my opinion, Howell is the only candidate who can meet that standard.
Howell has been a Kansas resident for 41 years, 15 of which have been in the Derby community. He has the experience—in the Air Force and at the Boeing workplace—to understand the problems and concerns of his constituents. He has a clear, heartfelt desire to rein in the tax-and-spend programs.
High on his priority list would be new business growth via improved and attractive tax rates, reduced health care costs, and less cash outflow because of unenforceable illegal immigration laws. All of his objectives are central to the health and welfare of the people of this great state.
